A targeted session for small scars that are fully closed and completely healed. The focus is local comfort, mobility and sensitivity in the tissue surrounding the scar.
Your practitioner assesses the scar and the tissue around it before anything else. If the area is appropriate for treatment, fine needles may be placed around — not through — the scar and surrounding tissue. If the scar is not suitable, the practitioner will say so and refer you back to your medical provider.
The scar and surrounding tissue are evaluated before treatment, and unsuitable areas are declined.
